We had our cluster stand at the Weald of Kent Ploughing Match alongside the Marden Farmer Cluster and South East Rivers Trust which went down really well. It was a great day, and we were blessed with beautiful weather for the 3rd year running! It was a great opportunity to showcase the work that has been happening and what clusters are all about. Lots of you stopped by which was lovely and we met some new faces of which some have since joined the group!
Last month we had our Upper Beult Cluster Meeting kindly hosted by Frasers at Coldharbour Farm. This meeting focused on the river restoration work that SERT have been doing with local landowners and Southern Water funding and what is planned, as well Charlie Chantler talking about the SFI opportunities available.
At this meeting I raised the Upper Beult Farmer Cluster members survey which has been put together to ensure everyone has a say in how the cluster continues. Since this went out, we have had 18 responses which have all been extremely positive! This has fed into discussions with Southern Water about the continuation of funding for their next AMP period. Robin has written up some more detail on this below. If you still have not completed this survey it will remain live for a little longer so, please fill this in.
