4th February 2021, several of the cluster met at Coldharbour Farm to brush up on their bird ID skills to kick start the Big Farmland Bird Count 2021.
During the early morning walk, a great variety of birds were spotted including: a flock of Linnets and Bramblings, 1 Magpie, 2 Redwing, 5-6 Tree sparrows and 1 Yellow hammer making a colourful appearance!
The Upper Beult Farmer Cluster brings farmers together to help shape and support more sustainable farming. Supported by Kent Wildlife Trust and Southern Water, the cluster encourages farmer-to-farmer learning and development by sharing skills, knowledge and resources.
