Christmas 2022 Update

I hope this finds you well and winding down ready for the Christmas break! It was so lovely to see those of you that were able to come along to the Upper Beult Christmas party last week, kindly hosted by Will Fraser. It was a great chance to catch up with everyone and get some ideas down for the cluster going forward into 2023!

Not only looking forward, but also a brilliant opportunity to look back at all the work that has been done this year. This has included some really interesting events and walks hosted by members, the continued work of Chas Holt carrying out nightingale surveys throughout the cluster, Southern Water trials including Skippy Scout and over-winter cover crops, the website going live, plus loads more!

As we head into the new year we will be looking at the process of Natural Capital Assessments as four are currently being delivered on members farms. These are kindly being funded by Southern Water to help us share how this process works, what the outcomes will look like and how this can benefit the farmers. There will be more details on this in the Spring plus some more events lined up too!

For now, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and wish you all the best for the New Year!
