Gable Hook Farm – Wildflower Walk

Members and wildlife survey volunteers gathered in May 2021 for a walk through the hay meadows at Gable Hook Farm, hosted by Trayton Pont. Trayton was joined by Sue Buckingham who provided wildflower ID.  We learned about buttercups, their differences and what their presence or absence in a field may mean to the ecology.

The flower survey was extensive and 50 different flower species were recorded during the walk.
