Volunteer Bird Survey Week
We have collaborated with Operation Turtle Dove to help support these threatened birds within the Upper Beult. Many cluster members have been working directly with Shivani Thevar to set up feeding stations and discuss habitat options on farms.
Alongside this we felt it would be great to record what bird species, in particular turtle doves, are on local farms. Kerry Williams and I worked together to bring in a group of volunteers and some farms in the cluster to trial a bird survey week.
We are still getting all the data together which we hope to share soon plus, work out some set dates for when we should be doing this in the future.
