Reducing Pesticides on an Arable Farm

Peter Lundgren is a conventional arable farmer in Lincolnshire growing combinable crops. He is also a campaigner for a viable sustainable future for British farming. Although now a Lincolnshire farmer, Peter grew up in the Weald and understands the challenges of the heavy clay. He is passionate about farming and working towards a viable future for UK farmers.

In this webinar, Peter discussed the findings from his 2018 report on sustainable farming and reducing pesticide use, commissioned by Friends of the Earth in order to gain a true farmer perspective on the issue. Peter outlines what he has achieved on his own farm in terms of pesticide use reduction and the practical steps he has taken to get there.
