As we draw closer to the end of 2024, I hope everyone is getting a chance to wind down ready to enjoy the festivities and get some well-earned rest! This year has been quite an adventure with some big challenges but also some great achievements too! All members should have received a copy of the Upper Beult Farmer Cluster Report this month in the post, but if you would like to have a digital copy it can be found on the ‘Resources’ page of the cluster website here. This document really does show just how much has been done over the last 5 years!
Farmers have been protesting in London this month with several cluster members taking part. These protests have been very well attended which really highlights the concerns shared by so many members of the farming community. It can be quite overwhelming with so much change and uncertainty happening in government, so I just wanted to remind everyone there is support. Either through this cluster groups events and socials, or groups such as FCN (Farming Community Network).
On Wednesday 11th December we had our Upper Beult Farmer Cluster Christmas Party! It was such a lovely evening seeing everyone! A big thank you for such amazing food and hospitality provided by Martin and MaryAnn at Green Farm! We gave out the cluster awards for this year which marked some amazing achievements.
